Job Description

Job Summary TEOCO's Audit team is seeking a smart, self-motivated, and collaborative candidate. This is a great opportunity to gain or build upon experience in utility consulting, developing a foundation of utility invoice knowledge and learning software tools. Key Responsibilities Employee duties will include the following: (1)
Utility Payment Evaluation:
Research and, if necessary, make payment on urgent past due notices and high priority issues for any account that could be in jeopardy of service shut off. Utilize internal TEOCO systems to document payment activity to ensure accurate financial governance. Utilize specific client systems to gather data that will support decision making. Analyze collected data to determine if emergency payment is required. Candidate will conduct Vendor/Supplier outreach, as necessary, plus undertake collaboration with internal teams. Handle root cause analysis and incorporate lessons learned from past incidents. (2)
Functional Management:
Function as a back-up to management when current manager is out or not available for certain time periods. Provide mentorship to other team members. Assist with documentation of processes and training of new employees as needed. (3) Become a SME in TEOCO, client, and payment partner systems, include querying tools. Demonstrate solid Excel skills. (4) Complete reporting and analysis as directed by management: Weekly Bank Reconciliation Report; Weekly Credit Card Reimbursement Reconciliation; Assign and Monitor the monthly Multiple 911 Report; Weekly Aging EFT Payment Report; Accrual Report Distribution. (5) Successfully interface with payment partner (tickets, queries, hotline, reporting, recurring calls, escalation issues) as needed.
