This position works closely with insurance companies and internal teams to ensure accurate billing, coding, and account management. Why Work With Vistar Eye Center? Full-time, Monday-Friday hours Weekends off On-the-job training Health insurance available immediately 401(k) with profit sharing Generous PTO and additional paid sick time Paid holidays Gym membership discounts Friendly, team-oriented work environment What You'll Do Accurately code and enter surgical charges Review claims and billing reports for accuracy and correct billing edits Process insurance claims, payments, transfers, and surgical charges Serve as a resource regarding insurance claims, policies, and procedures Monitor outstanding insurance and patient accounts and follow up on unpaid balances Assist with charge distribution, co-management, and compliance audits Answer patient billing questions and assist with payment arrangements Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and financial information Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required One year of medical office experience involving insurance preferred Experience with medical billing and coding, including
CPT/ICD-10
