Job Description The Front Desk & Billing Support Representative II serves as the primary point of contact for customers visiting a company office location. This position is responsible for providing front desk reception, customer account support, payment processing, billing assistance, and administrative support while delivering a high level of customer service. The role supports daily office operations, assists customers with account inquiries and service-related requests, and maintains accurate customer and billing records in accordance with company policies and procedures. In addition to front-office and billing responsibilities, this position assists with router programming, equipment distribution and returns, inventory coordination, deposit preparation, and advanced customer account management activities. The Front Desk & Billing Support Representative II exercises independent judgment in resolving customer issues and serves as a resource for routine operational and administrative functions within the office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Advanced Customer Service & Front Desk Operations Greet and assist customers in a professional, courteous, and customer-focused manner. Maintain a welcoming and professional office environment. Answer general questions regarding company services, billing, and account information. Direct customers to appropriate departments when specialized assistance is required. Independently resolve more complex customer account and billing issues. Assist with front office workflow coordination and customer service best practices. Billing, Deposits & Account Management Process customer payments and assist with reconciliation activities. Prepare and balance daily deposits in accordance with company procedures. Manage complex account maintenance transactions and billing adjustments within approved authority levels. Investigate and resolve escalated billing concerns. Ensure accuracy and integrity of customer account records. Router Programming & Equipment Coordination Configure and program routers and related customer equipment using established procedures. Troubleshoot basic equipment-related issues. Provide guidance to customers regarding equipment functionality and service setup. Coordinate with technical support and field operations to resolve customer equipment concerns. Administrative & Operational Support Support operational reporting, documentation, and process compliance activities. Coordinate inventory tracking and equipment accountability. Assist with training new employees on office procedures and customer service processes. Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and office efficiency. Support special projects and customer operations initiatives as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of customer service, billing, administrative support, telecommunications, banking, or related experience required. Experience with cash handling, deposits, account maintenance, or billing functions preferred. Telecommunications or broadband industry experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Advanced customer service and conflict-resolution skills. Strong understanding of customer account management practices. Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Working knowledge of router configuration and customer-premise equipment support. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company operating systems. Ability to train and mentor team members in established processes. Ability to handle sensitive customer and financial information confidentially. $36,696.00 - $55,044.00 per year
