Job Description

Overview The Billing Supervisor oversees Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health billing operations across all CVCH sites. This role directs day-to-day billing workflows including coding support, charge entry, claim submission, payment positing, credit resolution, patient financial responsibility, and collections. The Billing Supervisor ensures compliance with FQHC billing requirements, federal and state regulations, payer contracts, and CVCH internal policies. This position serves as the EPM Administrator (Athena Collector/NextGen), supporting configuration, optimization, and user training. The role provides leadership to billing staff, develops performance metrics, and drives continuous improvement in accounts receivable performance and clean-claim rates. •

•Duties Supervise daily billing activities, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and in accordance with company policies. Lead and mentor the billing team, providing training and performance feedback to optimize productivity. Collaborate with finance, sales, and customer service departments to resolve billing discrepancies promptly. Implement and maintain efficient billing procedures to improve accuracy and reduce processing time. Review billing reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual terms. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls related to financial transactions. Support audit processes by providing detailed billing documentation and resolving any identified issues. Qualifications Experience in billing or accounts receivable management within a corporate environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in billing software systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in billing processes. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and resolving client inquiries. Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred. Combination of education and work experience may be substituted for degree.
Pay:
$67,100.80 - $95,264.00 per year
