WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the billing, collections and financial operations of the health campus. They handle financial tasks such receiving and depositing payments, making collections calls and issuing letters, discussing payment arrangements with account holders, and working with Medicare, Medicaid and insurance companies on eligibility, claims and reimbursements. Key Responsibilities "Hands-on" billing and collections for all of the campus payer types. Assists families through the Medicaid determination and eligibility process. Manages monthly billing processes for all payer classes in an accurate and timely manner. Posts cash payments received; timely & appropriately to the correct resident account. Establishes and maintains systems that impact census records, accounts receivable and resident personal/financial information. Participates in campus leadership responsibilities such as meal manager and manager on duty rotations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
