In this vital role, you will manage the billing processes for pharmacy services, ensure accurate claim submissions, and actively pursue collections to optimize revenue. Duties Verifying primary and secondary insurance coverage on residents. Provide customer service and problem resolution to facilities and residents. Account reconciliation and account refund requests Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective collection strategies while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve billing discrepancies and expedite payments. Maintain detailed records of all billing activities, collections efforts, and correspondence in accordance with healthcare policies. Stay updated on changes in health insurance policies, medical coding standards, and billing regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. Skills Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
