A Collections Manager manages staff that record and process collections at a bank or financial services company. Ensures that checks presented to a bank clear and the amount is debited to the bank and credited to a customer account. Manages collection accounts for a bank, creditor loan company or collections agency. Tracks the amounts owed by a customer that has fallen behind on bill payments and negotiates re-payment.
We are currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager to ensure the timely and accurate collection of reimbursement for services rendered. This is a remote position. This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.
Pay range:
$60,000-$75,000/yr Job Responsibilities Serve as point of contact and subject matter expert for insurance and patient billing, collections, policies, and regulations Identify trends and factors adversely affecting collections; resolve through strong team leadership and collaboration with other company leaders Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and maximize cashflow Develop and implement strategies to reduce inefficiencies and improve collection rate Foster a positive work environment by providing appropriate support, training, and feedback Manage workforce tasks such as timecard maintenance, counseling, and hiring Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children Job Qualifications Fluency in intermediate Excel functions At least five years of experience with electronic health/medical record systems (EMR/EHR) At least five years of experience reading insurance adjudication documents At least two years of experience identifying, root causing, and resolving cash trends At least three years of experience in workforce management Experience with dental, vision, or orthodontic operations and revenue cycle a plus In addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.
