Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist for a contract/temporary opportunity in Buena Park, CA within the aerospace and defense industry. This role is ideal for a dependable administrative professional with 1-2 years of experience who enjoys accurate order processing, customer support, and working in a fast-paced operations environment. The Data Entry Specialist will play an important role in reviewing, entering, and tracking customer purchases to ensure orders are processed correctly and delivered on time.   • Enter customer information, purchase orders, and order details into the company database or ERP system with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Review customer orders for completeness, pricing, product availability, and data accuracy before processing.
  • Monitor inventory levels, confirm product availability, and communicate low stock or order concerns to the appropriate teams.
  • Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and related order paperwork to support timely fulfillment and delivery.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, shipping, customer service, and internal operations teams to track order status and resolve issues.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery timelines, product availability, returns, exchanges, and payment or data discrepancies. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $48,500 to $52,000 per year.

  • Process and review customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter order details into database or ERP systems.
  • Coordinate shipping documentation and delivery tracking.
  • Support customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, order processing, administrative support, customer service, or a related clerical role.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to enter and verify information accurately.
  • Comfortable using databases, ERP systems, order entry platforms, or similar business software.
  • Ability to review purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and customer records for accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple order processing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data errors, payment issues, inventory concerns, or delivery discrepancies. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting order processing, inventory coordination, or shipping documentation in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or order management software.
  • Prior experience handling customer inquiries related to orders, delivery status, returns, or exchanges.
