Job Summary As the Data Entry Operator, you will complete basic data entry, scanning and indexing various source documents into a document imaging system for storage, processing, and data management purposes within the public sector. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Operator to join our team for a full time, onsite opportunity in Newark, DE. The primary responsibility of this role is to complete basic data entry, scanning and indexing various source documents into a document imaging system for storage, processing, and data management purposes within the public sector. What You'll Do Prepare documents for digitalization by separating a variety of records to prep for their indexing subtype Operate scanning equipment to convert paper documents into digital formats, ensuring clarity and readability of scanned images, as necessary Accurately index and categorize digital documents within the imaging system, adhering to established naming conventions and organizational standards Implement document retention policies, ensuring compliance with designated retention schedules, as necessary Perform quality checks on documents to validate the document was received in the proper format Ensure the security and confidentiality of all digital records, following data protection regulations Maintain assigned office equipment in a clean and professional manner Work closely with managers and team members to ensure that all necessary documentation is collected, indexed, and maintained
