Job Description Summary:
Position Responsibilities Assist with maintanance and updates of data in the main Supply Chain System item file and assists users in maintaining their inventory files. Assist with maintenance and updates of the Supply Chain System vendor and manufacturer files. Update and ensure the data fields in the item file for inventory and non-inventory items are accurate and properly completed to support the purchasing and inventory process. Researches and collects data from vendor catalogs and hospital departments as needed to support Supply Chain Services requirements. Edit and maintain code tables in Supply Chain System. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy when processing data into the Supply Chain Services data system. Provides information to departments regarding item, inventory and vendor data adds and updates. Assist with front desk ensuring vendors are compliant prior to issuing a badge, as required. Assist with sorting, distributing and picking up mail, as required. Assist with answering the telephone promptly. Demonstrates proper telephone etiquette. Assist with annual physical inventories, as required. File source documents and retrieve for data validation, as required. Generates reports from the Supply Chain System, as required. Conduct all Medical Center business with vendors and staff in a highly professional and ethical manner. Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with co-workers and management staff. Search public records and perform online searches to locate and verify records. Assist with preparing and importing digital data files utilizing automated Supply Chain software programs. Assist with reviewing and processing bill only invoices, documenting issues and following-up to obtain resolution, as needed. Summarize data and maintain daily statistics in tracking spreadsheets. Work with confidential information and ensure it is secure and protected. Qualifications License/Registration/Certification Not applicable Education High School Diploma, College/Computer Science Degree. Experience Five years experience in hospital materials management or related healthcare field. Five years experience implementing and maintaining materials management software.Benefits:
