The successful candidate will accurately enter, update, verify, and maintain information across computer systems, databases, spreadsheets, and digital records. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with computers, can maintain accuracy while handling repetitive tasks, and is comfortable following established procedures in a professional office environment. Key Responsibilities Enter data accurately into company databases, spreadsheets, and computer systems. Review source documents and verify information before entering records. Update existing customer, business, and administrative records as needed. Check data for accuracy, completeness, duplicate entries, and inconsistencies. Identify and correct data entry errors according to established procedures. Process forms, invoices, reports, applications, and other business documents. Scan, upload, label, organize, and archive electronic files. Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical records. Perform routine data verification and quality-control checks. Prepare spreadsheets, lists, summaries, and basic reports. Retrieve and organize information for authorized employees and departments. Communicate with coworkers to clarify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information. Maintain confidentiality when handling company, customer, or employee records. Follow company policies for data entry, document management, privacy, and information security. Assist with general clerical and administrative duties when needed. Complete assigned work accurately and within established deadlines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous data entry, office, clerical, or administrative experience is a plus. Strong computer and keyboarding skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and common office software. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to type efficiently while maintaining consistent accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable handling repetitive data-processing tasks. Dependable, professional, and willing to learn new software and systems.
