Data Entry Clerk Job Description This role supports the final phase of a CRM migration project by accurately transferring, organizing, and validating records between CRM systems. The position focuses exclusively on data entry, record management, and quality control, ensuring information is entered correctly, consistently, and securely. Responsibilities Transfer customer, contact, and project information from an existing CRM system into a new CRM platform with a high level of accuracy. Review and organize data prior to entry to ensure records are complete, correctly categorized, and ready for migration. Verify the accuracy of transferred information and correct any formatting or entry errors in a timely manner. Follow established procedures, guidelines, and documentation for data migration and record management. Maintain confidentiality and security of all company data handled during the migration process. Communicate progress regularly and promptly raise any data-related issues or inconsistencies to the project team. Meet daily and weekly productivity targets while consistently maintaining a high level of accuracy. Work independently to manage assigned tasks and adhere to project timelines during the final month of the migration. Essential Skills Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or records management preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while performing repetitive tasks. Basic computer proficiency and comfort navigating multiple software applications and CRM systems. Work Environment This is an in-person position based in an office located in downtown Indianapolis. The role supports a contract assignment focused on the final month of a CRM migration project. Full-time hours are preferred, though some schedule flexibility may be available based on project needs. The work involves extensive use of computers, CRM platforms, and other office software while handling large volumes of data in a professional office setting.
