Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Collector Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will operate and monitor various data collection and processing machines, ensuring accurate data capture and seamless production flow. Your expertise will help optimize manufacturing processes, maintain high-quality standards, and support efficient factory operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about precision machining, data accuracy, and manufacturing excellence. Duties Operate data collection machinery such as CNC machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses with precision and adherence to safety protocols Set up and calibrate equipment using technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM programming tools to ensure accurate data capture Monitor machine performance continuously, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime Read and interpret technical documents including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), blueprints, and manufacturing specifications Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse handling equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality standards during production Collaborate with engineering teams on CNC programming, tooling adjustments, and fabrication processes to optimize machine efficiency Requirements Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC lathes, milling machines, press brakes, stamping presses, or flexo presses in a factory setting Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with CNC programming (Fanuc controls preferred), CAM programming, CAD software like SolidWorks or similar tools Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification is a plus Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, assembly line operations, welding, tooling setup, and packaging procedures Understanding of GD&T principles for quality control purposes Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable Join us if you're eager to contribute your technical skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment!
