JOB SUMMARY
Create billing invoices based on medical information provided by the medic through electronic medical records
JOB LOCATION
Lafayette, LA - This position is based in the office Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create new customer and billing records for Medic Created Invoices Review existing customers and update billing record with information provided on billing records Basic verification of insurance benefits Incorporate quality improvement measures found through the auditing process Work with CDC management toward process refinement Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in Google, MS Office Suite or related software Problem Solving Abilities Excellent Communication Skills Familiar with the centers for Medicare and Medicaid services regulations (ambulance) Maintain good personal motivation; develop a sense of ownership of job tasks and results. Must have a sense of urgency for all work performed.
