Data Collector III, Testing and Data Collection

About the PositionDexis is seeking a Data Collector III to support a large-scale Army test and evaluation program. The project provides data collection, technical writing, computer operations, range scheduling, and administrative support services necessary to execute the government's test mission. Support encompasses testing of a wide variety of automotive, combat, electronic, general equipment, and ordnance materiel, with services including data collection and coordination, data compilation and processing, development and management of data collection forms, test monitoring, technical writing and editorial review, reporting, data and software administration, range scheduling, and related operational support.
The Data Collector III performs complex, structured data collection and applies extensive knowledge of equipment operating characteristics and maintenance procedures to report critical test data used in materiel evaluations. The role coordinates data collection support, performs field work, and conducts daily quality assurance reviews for completeness and accuracy.
Work will be performed primarily onsite in Aberdeen, Maryland, with travel to other locations within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) as required by mission needs. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities
- Use structured, complex data collection methods in support of test activities.
- extensive knowledge of equipment operating characteristics and maintenance procedures to report critical test data used in materiel evaluations.
- Coordinate required data collection support.
- Perform field work in support of assigned test activities.
- Check work in progress and review and initial completed work for quality assurance, completeness, and accuracy on a daily basis.
- Perform job functions at sites other than Aberdeen as required. Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical area and one (1) year of experience performing data collection involving military or nonmilitary equipment and associated maintenance concepts; OR three (3) years of experience performing data collection involving military or nonmilitary equipment and associated maintenance concepts.
- Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher in each individual discipline of math and science and a GPA of 3.0 or higher in high school English or a GPA of 2.5 or higher in college English from an accredited high school or university.
- Must possess a high school diploma.
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned functions, which may include working in extreme heat or cold, high humidity, blowing sand and dust, confined spaces, at heights, and walking distances over unimproved terrain while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must be available to support work outside normal duty hours when required by mission needs.
- Must be willing and able to travel within CONUS and OCONUS as required.
