Job Description

Title:
Data Entry Clerk Reports to: Production Supervisors and Warehouse Manager Based at: Mucci Pac Ltd.,
Romulus, MI Type of Employment:
Full time, permanent, 6-days a week, and potentially extended hours depending on workload and priorities; which could include possible Sunday shifts. Please note that the Midnight shift could have different start times based on production needs.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Record time studies of completed jobs by the Repack team Enter data into the Famous system and record it on paper accurately Creates appropriate tags specific to produce on pallets with information of size, quantity, country of origin, etc. Checks and verify all the input and output tags for discrepancies Attend meetings to discuss production issues and updates Assist Production Supervisors and Line Cordinators with daily ad hoc administrative duties and responsibilities Assists Inventory Control Team and other departments as needed Performs other clerical duties as instructed by the Production Supervisors Tag the output and clean up the paperwork properly Verify label sheet from label room Ensure all information is complete and accurate and escalate if not Send inquiry emails and to do list in timely manner Perform other clerical duties as instructed by the
Production Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications:
Completion of High School, GED, or equivalent is required Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner both written and verbally in English Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, (Word and Excel specifically) Knowledge of Famous or similar software is considered an asset Strong understanding of production needs of produce or related industry is strongly preferred Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Proven ability to influence those that are not direct reports Attention to detail, and the ability to input data accurately and in a timely manner Proven ability to work cross functionally with various departments
Physical Abilities:
Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs. Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time. Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F.
