Job Description
Description We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where accuracy and efficiency are essential. The role involves handling repetitive data entry tasks, reconciling reports, and maintaining organized records to support daily operations. This role will be approximately 25-30 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile nightly sales numbers submitted by multiple store locations to ensure accuracy.
- Perform high-volume data entry tasks related to inventory management and ticket creation.
- Update inventory records and generate required reports using a customized internal system.
- Maintain organized filing systems to support documentation and record-keeping needs.
- Verify and correct data discrepancies before submitting final reports.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team and district manager to address operational needs.
- Ensure tasks are completed promptly and efficiently, demonstrating accountability and neatness.
- Adapt to changes during peak times, such as show seasons, which may require additional hours.
- Utilize Google Workspace tools and 10-key typing skills for efficient data handling.
- Learn and navigate the company's tailored inventory management platform over time. Requirements
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in numeric data entry and 10-key typing.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools, including Sheets and Docs.
- Ability to work with a customized inventory management system and adapt to its unique features.
- Strong organizational skills to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Flexibility to adjust to varying workloads, especially during peak seasons.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional additional hours as needed.
