Job Description

Valley County Health System has a full-time position available for a Patient Access Admissions Representative to join our professional and dedicated team. This position will work 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include gathering and entering patient demographic information into the hospital database, answering a multi-line phone system and data entry of charges.
JOB SUMMARY
Qualified candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, knowledge of multi-line telephone system, strong computer skills, copier, scanner, fax machine and 10-key pad skills. Previous experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a working knowledge of business office practices.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience
