Data Entry Specialist

This is an in-person position. What is this job all about? I'm sure you've gotten them: requests for donations with a tear-off strip that you mail back to a charity, together with your gift, in the envelope provided. Our business is to open the mail that people like you have returned, deposit those gifts into the bank, send out Thank You letters, and enter this information into the client's own mailing list. Our clients are all large, national charities who utilize our services. It's unfair to describe this job as simply data entry because at Trylon everyone does a lot of different things. What is for certain is that you will be working in the gift processing department doing our version of data entry. What do I mean by "our version of data entry"? Well, it's not really the heads down, fast typing, job that you might imagine, although it does pay to have good typing skills.
