Fully On-Site - No Remote/Telecommuting Option Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Albany, NY on a one-year contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, reviewing, and maintaining information while following established procedures and quality standards. This position is well suited for someone who has strong attention to detail, can work effectively with confidential materials, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and update data into computer systems and databases. Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Perform quality assurance checks to identify and correct errors. Follow established procedures, instructions, and data entry guidelines. Handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with established policies and procedures. Organize and maintain electronic and/or physical records. Review documents and verify information before entering data. Assist with document processing, scanning, indexing, and electronic file management as needed. Maintain productivity and accuracy while meeting established deadlines. Communicate effectively with team members regarding discrepancies or missing information. Work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Perform other administrative and data-related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Previous data entry experience strongly preferred. Experience with quality assurance or data verification is beneficial. Experience handling confidential or sensitive materials is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve or escalate issues appropriately. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is beneficial. Experience with Capture Pro or Content Manager is a plus. Ability to learn new computer systems and software applications quickly. Work Environment This is a fully on-site position in Albany, NY . Employees are required to report to the work location Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM . There is no option for telecommuting or remote work.
