00 The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for administrative data entry, reviewing and auditing reports and other related administrative tasks as assigned. This position is located within a busy, fast paced medical staff Credentialing Office at Albany Med. This position works closely with the Director on Provider Expirables. This is an in office position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strictly adhere to HIPAA and NYS HIV Confidentiality Law Collect information from medical records, licenses and other various data forms and enter them into databases Maintain organized filing and tracking systems Work independently, asking questions when guidance is needed Inform supervisor of data entry issues Practice strong attention to detail and accuracy of data entry Qualifications High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • required Experience with data entry and Microsoft Office
  • required Strong attention to detail and accuracy (High proficiency) Excellent organization and tracking skills (High proficiency) Familiarity with medical terminology Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality principles Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
