Job Description

About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to accurately and securely enter client and donor information into our CMS database. This role is essential to keeping our records accurate, complete, and confidential. Responsibilities Enter and update client and donor records in CMS with a high degree of accuracy Verify data for completeness and correct any discrepancies or duplicate entries Handle sensitive and confidential information (personal, financial, and donation details) with discretion and in accordance with organizational privacy policies Cross-check source documents (forms, spreadsheets, emails) against CMS entries Flag inconsistencies or missing information to the appropriate team member Maintain organized digital records and follow established data entry protocols Perform periodic data audits/spot-checks to ensure ongoing accuracy Send donors pledge records for pledge fulfilment Communicate with contacts to get updated and more complete information Assist with basic CMS reporting or data exports as needed Qualifications Prior experience with data entry, administrative support, or CRM/database platforms Exceptional attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, precision-focused work Strong typing speed and accuracy Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and general computer literacy Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment handling confidential or sensitive information Ability to work independently, meet timelines, and manage time across a part-time schedule Strong written communication skills Preferred (Not Required) Experience in a nonprofit setting Familiarity with Jewish culture and community organizations
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week
