Data Collection Operator Job Type:
Full-Time Direct Hire Location:
Pittsburgh, PA Pay:
$37K ($17.79 per hour)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Shift Window:
Various shifts, with start times as early as 7:00 AM EST and end times as late as 8:30 PM EST Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Data Collection Operator to support accurate data collection, validation, and processing while delivering a professional and positive participant experience. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, basic technical troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a fast-paced environment. This position requires professionalism, reliability, confidentiality, and the ability to identify and escalate operational or technical issues promptly. Key Responsibilities Conduct data collection activities according to established SOPs and quality standards. Provide participants with a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused experience. Maintain data accuracy, completeness, and quality throughout the collection process. Follow all security, privacy, and confidentiality requirements when handling sensitive information. Monitor participant schedules and support efficient participant transitions. Troubleshoot basic software, hardware, network, and Mac OS issues . Identify and escalate operational, technical, safety, and participant concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Accurately document activities, incidents, and operational findings. Support process improvement initiatives and provide feedback on workflow enhancements. Complete required training and compliance activities on time. Collaborate with Shift Leads, Program Leads, team members, and client stakeholders. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality and adhere to assigned schedules. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, operations, technical support, troubleshooting, data collection, or a related field. Experience diagnosing and resolving basic software and hardware issues. Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong professionalism and communication skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to consistently follow written procedures, SOPs, and work instructions. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a Mac OS environment . Previous experience in data collection, research, laboratory, or technology-related operations . Understanding of quality assurance and process compliance . Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.

$37,000.00 per year
