The Gift & Pledge Processing Data Associate supports the Office of University Advancement's Gift & Pledge Processing team through data entry projects, donor gift record maintenance, and administrative support activities using University database applications. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative and technical tasks that help maintain the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of constituent gift data. The Data Associate plays an important role in ensuring high-quality donor records and supporting the efficient operation of the Gift & Pledge Processing department.Specific duties include:
Support gift and donor record maintenance activities by using the University's fundraising database (Banner) to review historical gift data from spreadsheets and reports, research and resolve discrepancies, and accurately enter updates and corrections to constituent records. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of donor and gift information. Monitor the Gift & Pledge Processing shared email inbox by reviewing and triaging incoming requests, determining the appropriate next steps, and creating and assigning Salesforce tickets to facilitate timely follow-up and resolution by Gift & Pledge Processing staff. Assist with special projects and administrative support activities, including researching donor IDs for gift entry, preparing tax receipt and pledge reminder mailings during peak processing periods, and performing other duties that support the efficient operation of the Gift & Pledge Processing team.Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled as a Villanova University undergraduate student. Position requires in-person work. Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Ability to contribute as an active and collaborative member of a team. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Understanding of and ability to maintain data confidentiality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Banner, Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, or similar office technologies is preferred but not required.Additional Information:
