Transfer Associate - Hybrid Schedule (Financial Services)

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00PM Pay:

6‑month contract with potential extension or conversion About the Opportunity Join a highly respected financial services organization as a Transfer Associate supporting a fast‑paced Account Transfers team. This role offers hands‑on experience in client account management, document review, and financial operations—all while working in a professional corporate environment with growth potential. Candidates will begin with 4 weeks of fully onsite training , then transition into a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week). A company‑provided laptop and ongoing development support are included. What You'll Do As a Transfer Associate, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of client account transfers.Your responsibilities include:
Reviewing and approving client requests to transfer accounts Contacting partner financial institutions to track transfer progress Verifying the accuracy and completeness of legal documentation Carefully evaluating incoming forms, letters of authorization, and transfer requests Maintaining detailed records and notes to meet regulated timelines Reconciling client accounts with precision Drafting and distributing professional client correspondence Answering inbound mail, phone, and email inquiries with high‑level customer service Supporting general clerical tasks (copying, filing, faxing, etc.) Assisting team members during high volumes or low staffing periods Participating in meetings, training, and ongoing skill development Performing additional duties as assigned by leadership Why You'll Love This Opportunity Hybrid schedule after initial training Corporate, professional office environment Laptop and equipment provided Opportunity to extend or convert based on performance Hands‑on experience in financial account operations Supportive team culture focused on accuracy, professionalism, and client service What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 2+ years of recent administrative or client service experience in a professional office setting Experience in banking or financial services Strong document management and document processing skills High‑accuracy data entry skills Candidates must complete a data entry assessment (6000 KPH, 85% accuracy minimum). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Professional communication skills—both written and verbal Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive mindset High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Soft Skills That Lead to Success Commitment to going above and beyond for customers Strong follow‑through and reliability Positive, team‑oriented attitude High emotional intelligence and composure Ability to pivot and adapt in a fast‑moving work environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
