Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to accurately enter, update, and maintain information across company databases, spreadsheets, and business systems. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with large amounts of information, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting deadlines. This is a remote position suitable for someone who can work independently, communicate effectively with team members, and handle confidential information responsibly. Responsibilities Enter and update information accurately in databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems. Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Verify information against source documents and identify discrepancies. Maintain organized electronic records and documentation. Process forms, applications, invoices, orders, and other business records. Use Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and other productivity tools. Perform routine data cleanup and updates to ensure records remain current. Maintain confidentiality when handling customer, employee, financial, or business information. Assist with generating basic reports and organizing data for internal teams. Communicate with appropriate departments when information is incomplete or requires clarification. Meet established productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time expectations. Qualifications Previous data entry, administrative, clerical, or office-support experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working with spreadsheets and computer-based systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Good typing and keyboarding skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Previous experience with CRM, ERP, database, or document-management systems is a plus. Remote Work Requirements Reliable internet connection. A suitable workspace for completing work remotely. Ability to communicate through email, phone, and online collaboration tools. Ability to maintain consistent working hours and meet assigned deadlines. Compensation $22.30 - $31.18 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills. Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday. Specific working hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
