Job Description
The Hub, a division of Spafax Airline Networks, is a well-established and respected post-production facility located in the heart of Hollywood's Media District. We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative team player to support our operations, which are responsible for the ingest, management, and distribution of feature film and television assets to airline partners worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital media assets (video, audio, and subtitles), a strong interest in television and film, and preferably prior post-production experience. Candidates must be quick learners who can adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced operations environment. The Hub will provide training for the right candidate who meets these criteria. This is a temporary, on-premises position with an anticipated duration of four months. Key Functions /
Responsibilities:
Apply, update, and maintain metadata tags within the media asset management system Review media files to identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent metadata and resolve discrepancies Verify the completeness and accuracy of media orders and associated metadata through digital file analysis (including technical metadata and visual/auditory review) Adapt to shifting priorities based on team and management direction Adhere to security policies and best practices for data handlingQualifications:
Knowledge of various audio and video formats (e.g., ProRes, MP4) Understanding of timed-text formats (e.g., SST/SON, SRT, TTML) Experience using VLC or comparable media players Familiarity with video testing and quality evaluation processes Understanding of media asset management systems and workflows Strong communication and collaboration skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong typing skills (60+ WPM with 99% accuracy) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel) and related tools Experience with CatDV and Airtable is a plus Required Education /Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Associate degree in a related field preferred, but not required 1+ years of video QC experience preferredPay:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hourWork Location:
