Job Description
Job Summary IAM District 141 is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Membership Office Clerks for long-term, part-time employment. Membership Office Clerks are responsible for maintaining accurate membership records, processing applications and reports, researching discrepancies, and supporting the office's daily administrative operations. This position requires careful attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately with Excel spreadsheets and multiple databases. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable learning new systems, able to follow detailed procedures, and willing to take ownership of assignments from beginning to completion. Candidates must communicate professionally, meet recurring deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous administrative, data-entry, record management, or office experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided over a 4 month period. Duties Maintain accurate membership records Process applications Process Reports in allotted timeframe Support Administrative staff with daily operations Research and professionally communicate any discrepancies Requirements Ability to work with Excel Spreadsheets accurately Ability to work independently Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask within recurring deadlines Comfortable learning new database systems
