WORK ENVIRONMENT

Material Shop

Position Summary:

All Temps Personnel Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support daily operations in a material shop. This position enters and updates order, inventory, receiving, delivery, and administrative information while maintaining accurate and organized electronic and paper records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Enter, update, and verify material, inventory, order, receiving, and delivery information in company systems.

Review source documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization before entering data.

Maintain spreadsheets, logs, reports, work orders, purchase records, and other shop documentation.

Create and update Microsoft Excel worksheets using basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and formatting.

Prepare documents, labels, forms, and correspondence using Microsoft Word and other Office applications.

Scan, copy, file, and retrieve electronic and paper records according to established procedures.

Compare entered data with source documents and correct errors or report discrepancies promptly.

Communicate with shop, warehouse, purchasing, delivery, and office personnel to confirm information.

Protect confidential business and customer information and follow record-retention procedures.

Maintain an organized workstation and assist with general clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements :

Previous data entry, clerical, administrative, inventory, or material shop experience is preferred.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to review numbers, item descriptions, quantities, and documents for accuracy.

Strong organization, filing, communication, and time-management skills.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and manage routine tasks with limited supervision.

Dependable attendance, punctuality, and availability Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Ability to work professionally with office, shop, warehouse, and delivery personnel.

Have a High School Diploma/GED

Must be 18 years or older

Work Expectations:

Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records.

Prioritize assigned work and meet daily data-entry and administrative deadlines.

Follow company policies, safety rules, and material shop procedures.
