Family Specialist Salary:
$21.00-$22.14 per hour
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, occasional evenings and weekends. Part Year, 41 weeks.
Position Summary:
The Family Specialist is responsible for implementing family self-sufficiency services utilizing a case management model. The Specialist works in partnership with families, facilitating achievement of family needs, family goals, parent involvement, and community referrals. The Specialist implements the enrollment process for their assigned site.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience and/or other education may substitute for education. Two years of experience working with low-income families required. Previous Head Start experience preferred.
