What You'll Do The Intake Specialist is the liaison between the Admissions Department and Program Staff.

Essential Duties:

Act independently to recognize, acknowledge, and ensure clients engagement upon arrival.

Establish rapport with clients, families, and other professionals.

Facilitate all intake activities.

Coordinate face-to-face assessments.

Collect and ensure all admissions related paperwork is accurately completed.

Generate EHR chart for all new admits.

Conduct tours.

Responsible for representing and introducing professionals, clients, and families to port Healthcare.

Acclimate client into environment.

Assist Admissions Department with over-the-phone assessments as needed. What Makes You a Great Fit Associate degree or high school diploma and two (2) years of customer service experience required.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Two years' experience in Admission and/or behavioral health preferred.

Two years residential treatment or inpatient experience preferred.
