ABOUT THE JOB

Credentialing isn't just paperwork—it's what keeps providers active, services moving, and a growing ABA organization running without interruption. We're looking for an ABA Credentialing Specialist who is sharp, organized, proactive, and knows how to get things done. You'll take ownership of provider credentialing, enrollment, recredentialing, and payer requirements while keeping every detail accurate and every deadline on track. This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what comes next. We're looking for someone who follows up, catches problems before they become problems, and is comfortable navigating payer portals, managed care requirements, provider documentation, and the inevitable credentialing roadblocks that come with healthcare. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollment lifecycle for BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs with Florida Medicaid and managed care/commercial health plans (Molina, Sunshine Health, Humana, Optum, Carelon, etc). Complete and manage payer enrollments, revalidations, demographic changes, group affiliations, and rendering-provider linkages. Coordinate and maintain provider information across CAQH, NPPES, Florida Medicaid, Availity, and payer-specific portals. Track BACB certifications, Level 2 background screenings, CPR, required trainings, and other credentialing documents—and follow up before anything expires. Proactively follow up with payers on pending applications, identify enrollment issues, and push credentialing matters through to resolution. Collaborate with billing department to troubleshoot credentialing and enrollment issues that may delay authorizations, billing, or claims payment. Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready credentialing files for every provider. Collaborate wit Maintain clear tracking of credentialing status, outstanding items, effective dates, and upcoming expirations, and provide regular updates to leadership.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

1+ years of provider credentialing or payer enrollment experience required; ABA or behavioral health experience strongly preferred. Hands-on experience with CAQH, NPPES, Medicaid provider enrollment, Availity, ClaimMD, and health-plan credentialing portals. Experience completing and following through on payer applications, recredentialing, revalidations, provider updates, and group affiliations. Familiarity with ABA provider types and terminology, including BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs, is strongly preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the persistence to follow up with payers until an issue is actually resolved. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple providers, payers, deadlines, and applications simultaneously. Comfortable working independently while communicating effectively with other departments. Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and the ability to learn new credentialing and healthcare software quickly. Understanding of HIPAA and the proper handling of confidential provider and healthcare information. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
