About the Role As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian.
You will:
  • Assists the treatment team in providing direct client care.
  • Aids in ensuring an orderly, safe and therapeutic environment by maintaining a therapeutic relationship with person served and treats person served with dignity and respect at all times.
  • Monitors person served to help maintain a safe, clean environment and sets standards for milieu monitoring through the performance of these tasks.
  • Observes, reports and documents client interaction among peers, staff and the community as it relates to clients' individual recovery goals. What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 2 years' experience in a human service field required. OR
  • College education in human service field may be substituted for experience OR
  • Personal recovery of at least 2 years may be substituted for work experience Preference is given to candidates with work experience in substance abuse. Current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements required. What You'll Love About Working at Meridian
