Job Description

We are an upscale office surgery center located in Port Charlotte and Venice, specializing in reducing or eliminating pain using the latest successful interventional pain management techniques. We have combined highly advanced imaging technology with ground-breaking surgical techniques to help patients mitigate pain without drugs. Our office is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our expanding team. Job Description This candidate is responsible for quality services in a timely manner. The specialist must possess a great working attitude and while exercising accountability and professionalism in a fast-paced atmosphere. Communicates with staff in a timely manner to questions that arise.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain assigned accounts. Collect all the necessary information to prepare authorization requests. Submit prior authorizations/appeals through various insurance portals. Research, correct, and re-submit rejected and denied requests. Answer questions from patients, clerical staff and insurance companies. Verify insurance information is correct. Review office visits notes to verify patient will meet medical necessity for procedures being requested. Run reports. Schedule appointments Work well as a team. Accountability. Make outbound collection calls in a professional manner, while keeping and improving customer relations.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in healthcare insurance verification required. Ample prior authorization experience required -procedures and office visits Knowledge of Availity/Evicore portals are preferred. Strong communications skills. $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
