DESCRIPTION
The Enrollment Services Specialist I processes all records documents in an electronic environment and performs data entry, update, and maintenance of student records. Interfaces with student services, advising, and academic departments with regard to records/registration policies, procedures and/or decisions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides data entry/processing services and maintains accurate student records. Reconciles reports of discrepant data and makes appropriate changes to student records. Accesses and assists with maintaining accurate active, inactive, and archived student records from numerous sources, such as PeopleSoft, CSRS, IDM, vault, microfilm, and/or microfiche. Communicates records status to students and staff to ensure understanding. Researches issues related to high school validation. Processes all records documents, such as enrollment verifications, name change, grade changes, transcripts and test scores. Prepares reports for student record proxy box. Responds to student record inquiries online, in person, and via telephone. Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. One year of experience working in an office environment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
One year of experience in Admissions, Records or Registration. Associate degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
