Duties include:

determining insurance eligibility & benefits, obtaining preauthorization for referrals, communicate with insurer representatives and patients; coordinate with clinical field staff, intake team, QA staff, and biller. Requires one of the following minimums: 1) 4 years experience in medical precertification, 2) 1 year in home health precertification, or 3) three years with insurance company utilization management. Involves work with Medicare AB, Medicare C, Commercial, and Medicaid plans. Reports to agency Director of Insurance and Precertification. Full time in office, no remote work. Strong communication and data management skills needed. Pay commensurate with experience and is salaried with PTO 15 days, family leave 5 days, 6 paid holidays annually. 401K plan.
