Program Eligibility Specialist Banner Personnel - 3.8 Chicago, IL Job Details Full-time $20 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Qualifications Computer literacy Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Property management Time management Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an analyst, committed to supporting affordable housing initiatives and supporting diverse communities. This role involves managing data related to housing assistance programs, particularly the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program, ensuring compliance with federal regulations such as HUD and Fair Housing laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, and a passion for supporting high-risk populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness or mental health challenges. Duties Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring operational reports. Monitor compliance with Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), HUD, CHA, HQS, HAP Contract, and Owner Program requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and complex formulas. Experience in creating reports. Strong understanding of quality assurance practices. Ability to interpret operational data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Knowledge of affordable housing programs, Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), PBV, or property management operations is preferred. Knowledge of the rules and guidelines issued by federal and state agencies concerning the management of property (i.e., Landlord Tenant Laws, City codes, etc.) Knowledge of current office technology and software application (s), and demonstrated use of such technology/applications on a regular basis. Knowledge of computer hardware and software and ability to learn about new software

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, social work, or public administration.

• Experience working in a high-volume call and production environment with high performance guidelines and stringent deadlines. #BPSCHI2

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
