Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our Financial Department. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and values integrity in financial and insurance processes. You will play a vital role in helping patients understand their benefits, ensuring accurate insurance verification, and supporting the financial health of the practice—all while serving patients with professionalism, clarity, and Christ-centered compassion. Our Work Environment Christian values-driven culture Very modern, growing dental practices Supportive and collaborative team Opportunities for professional growth Fast-paced yet respectful environment Flexible scheduling options Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a Dental Insurance Coordinator or Insurance Specialist required Strong understanding of PPO and Medicaid insurance plans , guidelines, and documentation requirements Proficiency in insurance verification, benefit breakdowns, and claim protocols Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience obtaining pre-authorizations and following up on insurance approvals Dentrix Ascend experience highly preferred Excellent communication skills; organized, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel between both practice locations, if applicable Commitment to HIPAA compliance and maintaining strict patient confidentiality Alignment with the Christian values and mission of the practice
