Job Description
Description Belstra Milling Co. is a growing, family-owned, agricultural business in DeMotte, IN. We are searching for an individual to work in our Supply Chain department to fill our Supply Chain Planner position. This position works closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure the necessary ingredients are available on-site for each day's manufacturing schedule. This role helps maintain efficient inventory levels, responds quickly to changes, and supports smooth batching and production. As a proud certified Safe Feed/Safe Food facility, our manufacturing and quality assurance processes and standards exceed current industry regulations. In addition, this position must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations. Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to): Daily monitoring and refreshing of ingredient inventory levels Daily monitoring of key ingredients to identify shortages Coordinate with production on constraints and shortages effecting productions schedules Communication with procurement and demand planning on ingredient needs Run and refresh analysis on various production metrics and ingredient usages Prepare short term summaries for weekly planning and upcoming needs Process analysis to find efficiencies and control points related to inventory flow Learn responsibilities to back up demand planning Requirements Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to): Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Strong ability to anticipate needs and think proactively Ability to work in a fast paced production environment with frequent changes Problem-solving skills with a focus on effective resolution High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Clear and effective communication skills, both internally and externally Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
