Job Description

The University of Evansville Office of Admission invites applications for the position of Admissions Processing Specialist. This position plays a critical role in supporting the University's enrollment efforts through the accurate processing of prospective student information and application materials. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, service-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative environment while also working independently. This individual will support daily admission operations, maintain data integrity, and contribute to a positive experience for prospective students and their families throughout the recruitment and admission process. Key Responsibilities The Admissions Processing Specialist supports the Office of Admission through data management, communication processes, and operational support.
Responsibilities include:
Admissions Processing & Data Management Enter and maintain prospective student, applicant, and inquiry data with a high level of accuracy and consistency. Process student leads and application-related information within the University's student information and CRM systems. Monitor and verify data quality while identifying and correcting discrepancies as needed. Maintain accurate records in accordance with institutional policies and best practices. Communication & Correspondence Print, prepare, and process direct mail communications for prospective students and families. Assist with the execution and distribution of admission-related correspondence and communications. Support communication efforts throughout the student recruitment and application process. Operational Support Assist with workflow management and process improvement initiatives within the Office of Admission. Contribute to the development and maintenance of application processing procedures and documentation. Assist with staff training, training materials, and process manuals related to admission operations. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within admission processes. Collaboration & Customer Service Work collaboratively with admission staff, campus partners, student ambassadors, and other stakeholders. Provide professional and responsive service to prospective students, current students, and families. Maintain positive working relationships across campus departments to support enrollment goals. Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and standard office technology. Willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and technologies. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in admissions, enrollment management, higher education administration, or a related office environment. Experience with Slate CRM or similar customer relationship management and student information systems. Experience with data entry, records management, and database maintenance. Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement operational efficiencies. Experience developing training materials, procedural manuals, or workflow documentation.
