In this role, you will help ensure accurate insurance verification, minimize claim denials, and support a positive patient experience through clear communication and efficient documentation. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Additional healthcare, medical billing, or insurance-related education is a plus Experience Requirements Previous experience in medical insurance verification, medical billing, patient access, or a related healthcare role preferred Experience with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid verification preferred Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance portals Job Duties Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments Confirm coverage details, deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket costs Determine prior authorization and referral requirements Document verification information accurately in EMR systems Communicate coverage and patient responsibility information Resolve insurance issues with patients and internal departments Follow up on pending authorizations and verification requests Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards Physical Capabilities Sit for extended periods while working at a computer Perform frequent data entry and phone communication Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
