Job Description

Kennebec Behavioral Health, established in 1960 to provide comprehensive behavioral health services, named one of Best Places to Work in Maine for the last 5• years , and recently recognized as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic ( CCBHC•), currently has openings for full-time Access Center Specialists in our Augusta and Skowhegan Clinics. The Access Center Specialist is responsible for working with consumers to assure timely and appropriate access to agency services as well as providing information and referral about community resources including crisis services. Consumer needs are assessed through a clinical phone screening or on a walk-in basis. The specialist also assists consumers in seeking financial assistance and/or in enrolling in state or federal programs that will enable them to access services.
Requirements:
Candidates must posses, at a minimum, an Associates Degree and MHRT-C certification. Preferred qualified candidates will possess a bachelors' degree in social work with MHRT/C certification.
