Dental Insurance Verification Specialist Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Dental Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, ensuring accurate benefit information, and supporting a smooth patient experience from scheduling through billing.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments Accurately document coverage details including deductibles, maximums, and co-pays Identify and resolve discrepancies in insurance information Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Previous experience in dental insurance verification preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
