We are seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to support the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for physicians and allied health practitioners. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of healthcare credentialing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate provider information in the Echo credentialing database . Track provider licenses and certification expirations. Prepare credentialing reports and documentation for Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee (MEC), and Board of Trustees meetings. Process and collect site-based medical staff dues. Research and analyze credentialing and provider information as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality of provider information. Handle approximately 125-200 credentialing/reappointment applications per quarter . Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with healthcare provider credentialing is required. Knowledge of credentialing and re-credentialing processes. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent computer skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Pay:
