The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of City Clerk Services Specialist in the City Clerk's Office. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year. Under general supervision, performs specialized administrative and technical work related to the operation of the Office of the City Clerk; and performs related duties as required.

  • 5:30pm (4 day work week) The ideal candidate for this position will possess: Attention to detail and time management skills Experience maintaining and quality checking public records Initiative, sound judgement and adaptability External candidates, probationary full-time, part-time, and temporary City of Henderson employees will start at the first step of the salary range, if selected.
Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or the equivalent Three (3) years of experience performing specialized technical and administrative duties involving direct public contact
Note:
An equivalent combination of related education, experience, and training may be considered Must be able to pass examination and accept appointment as a Clark County Field Registrar Must qualify for and accept appointment as Passport Application Acceptance Agent Must obtain a bond and Nevada Secretary of State notarial appointment and obtain an appointment as a Notary Public within the first ninety (90) days of employment as condition of continued employment Must complete Security Awareness and National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Nevada Criminal Justice Information System (NCJIS) certification within six (6) months of hire/transfer and be recertified every year. Must maintain certifications in
