Job Description
Busy GI Office in need of an Insurance Verification Specialist responsible for verification of eligibility for all insurances, processing and posting of patient payments, and answering phone calls. This position requires communication with patients concerning their insurances and their statements, insurance companies, as well as internal staff. Understanding of insurance referrals/authorizations and the insurance company websites are preferred. Strong knowledge of insurances and customer service skills are required. Candidates should be able to work independently, multitask, be detail orientated and well organized.
