We are searching for enthusiastic workers that learn quickly and are familiar with computer work. We will not hesitate to train the right candidate.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, a high volume of inbound/outbound calls, data entry, responding to requests and inquiries, creating and sending correspondence in accordance with performance expectations and company policies, product specifications and procedures.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
: High inbound/outbound call volume of 80-150 calls/day Review Social Security Disability/Medicare questionnaires and/or interview claimants to ascertain whether he/she is an appropriate candidate for Social Security Disability/Medicare benefits Data entry, documentation, correspondence and reporting Apply government benefits, account and product information to specific situations in such a manner that the client/customer fully understands the information provided and any necessary next steps Responsible for handling both incoming and outgoing inquiries concerning government benefits Obtain data from customers and/or customer vendors to further develop and manage the assigned case Completing forms in compliance with government regulations and following up through closure
SCHEDULE
This is a 40 hours per week position. Hours for this shift are Monday-Thursday 10:30am to 7pm and Friday 9:30am to 6pm.
REQUIREMENTS
Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel and strong typing skills Must be self-motivated, flexible, learns quickly and works independently Must be very detail oriented and results driven Must have excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills Must be able to multi-task effectively High School diploma or work equivalent Environment/Physical demands: This position is largely sedentary in nature and individual must be able to remain stationary for up to 8 hours at a time communicating on the phone and using a computer; the ability to lift up to 20 pounds for moving supplies or equipment may be occasionally needed.
Desired skills/experience:
Bilingual capabilities (Spanish/English) beneficial Experience with Social Security Disability beneficial U.S.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
