Intake Specialist - Disability & Personal Injury Law Firm Boutique disability and personal injury law firm is seeking a full-time Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This is an important client-facing role for someone who is professional, organized, compassionate, and comfortable communicating with individuals who may be dealing with difficult medical, financial, or personal circumstances. The Intake Specialist will handle inbound legal inquiries, conduct initial client screenings, gather and organize case information, assist with Social Security Disability applications, and accurately enter and maintain information in the firm's case management systems. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to communicate clearly and professionally by phone, email, and in writing. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn multiple software platforms are essential. Experience with legal intake, CRM platforms, case management software, or data and reporting tools is a plus. Responsibilities Respond to prospective client inquiries by phone, email, and online submissions Conduct initial intake interviews and gather relevant case and client information Assist clients with completing Social Security Disability (SSDI) initial applications and related documentation Accurately enter, update, and maintain client information in the firm's case management and database systems Manage intake workflows and ensure timely follow-up with prospective clients Schedule consultations and coordinate communications between clients, attorneys, and staff Assist with maintaining intake reports, tracking systems, and data analytics Provide administrative and intake-related support to attorneys and other team members Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all client communications and records Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a law firm, medical office, insurance setting, call center, or customer service environment Experience with Social Security Disability (SSDI) claims, personal injury matters, legal intake, or case management systems is helpful but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team Comfortable learning and working with multiple software platforms and technology systems Professional, patient, and compassionate when communicating with prospective clients Compensation & Benefits Compensation is commensurate with experience.
