Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. This role will have both tactical and strategic responsibilities for ensuring the quality and functionality assisting with scheduling schools to take exams, processing test results and working closely with the Administrator of the department. Duties Answers the phones on a daily basis. Maintains up-to-date database information (i.e. email opt-outs, address changes, email address changes, etc.) Answers correspondence independently within the scope of knowledge Review WBT candidate applications to include: Review examination applications for candidate eligibility. Review the WBT request form from the program director request letter. Ensure proper payment has been submitted, check AST membership as Communicates with the surgical technology programs and their program directors. Coordinates and secures the WBT examination dates with the program directors. Releases and processes examination test results to include: Validate graduation verification. Provide a deadline for submission of graduation verification to students whom have yet to submit. Qualifications High School Graduate or GED equivalency required. Specialized training in business or clerical skills preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred. Business and/or secretarial skills, typing, written and verbal communications, ability to organize work, effectively interact with the public, computer data entry. The position requires patience and tact in dealing with people. Business office experience, experience in highly regulated fields, or other equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
