Job Description
Administrative Specialist - Office of Admissions The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Administrative Specialist in the Office of Admissions. This position serves as the primary point of contact for prospective cadets, families, school counselors, and campus visitors and plays a key role in supporting the recruitment and admissions process for The Citadel's Corps of Cadets program. The Administrative Specialist provides front-line customer service and administrative support for the Office of Admissions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting prospective cadets, families, and campus visitors and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment within the Admissions Office. Serving as the primary contact for the office by answering and directing incoming telephone calls, responding to email inquiries, and assisting visitors with general admissions questions. Maintaining and updating prospect and applicant records through data entry in Slate CRM and other institutional systems. Assisting with admissions document processing, including scanning, indexing, uploading, and maintaining electronic records. Supporting admissions communications, mailings, acceptance packets, and other recruitment materials. Assisting with visitor registration and other admissions-related activities. Providing administrative support to admissions staff and assisting with special projects and recruitment events as needed. The successful candidate will possess strong customer service, communication, organizational, and computer skills and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
